What do we provide?

The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, dishes, pots and pans, and glasses. If there's something more specific that you require, please check with the onsite office. In the kitchen you will also have some basic supplies such as dish soap, kitchen towels, dishwasher tablets, and laundry soap.

What kind of coffee pot is in the unit?

The coffee pot is a drip brewer and we provide one packet of coffee to get you going until you get to the grocery store. Filters are provided.

What linens do you provide?

Linens are provided for all the beds. If you are utilizing the sofa bed, spare pillows and blankets can be found in the hall closet. The bathrooms are fully stocked with towels, bar soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Please note we do not provide beach towels.

What is the Cave Deck?

According to a local history book, "Lakeway, The First 25 Years," written in 1988 by long-time Lakeway resident Byron Varner, our cave deck has a unique history. The small cave along Marina Cove was once considered as a possible beer garden site in 1973. Since the early 1980s, the cave has been home to a spa. In 2016, the spa was joined by a pool.

Where is the Cave Deck and how do I access it?

The pool and cave deck is located between Units #9 and #10. The entrance is below Unit #9. You'll need your key to enter and exit. For your safety, do not let anyone into the deck area who does not have their own key.

What is the maximum capacity at the Cave Deck?

Maximum capacity for the pool is 15 people. Maximum capacity for the spa is 5 people.

What are the Cave Deck hours of operation?

Hours of operation: 10:00am to 10:00pm.

Anything else I need to know about the Cave Deck?

Accepted Answer

The emergency telephone is located outside the entry gate to the left. The emergency shut off for the spa is by the pumps on the far fence line. Cushions may not be moved due to the fragile nature of the limestone shelf. Please return patio furniture to its original position when done. The spa timer is on the far fence — turn clockwise to your desired time. The temperature of the spa cannot be adjusted; if the water is cold, notify the office. Overhead lights come on at dusk and shut off when the pool closes. There is no lifeguard on duty. Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult at all times. No diving, no running or rough play. Animals and glass are prohibited.

What is the Betty Lindsey Lending Library?

Need a good book? Visit the on-site office at 18B and browse the Betty Lindsey Lending Library. Betty was a long-time staff member who loved reading and was always handing out books to guests. When she passed away in 2018, her family established the library in her honor. Take a book, leave a book — but most of all, read a book.

What about the BBQ pits?

There are four large charcoal grills available between Units #18 and #17. We do not provide matches, charcoal, or lighter fluid. Grills on the decks are prohibited as they are a safety hazard, so please don't bring them.

Where can I park my boat and trailer?

Accepted Answer

Per city ordinance, boats and trailers must be parked in a closed garage within Lakeway city limits. The city actively enforces this, with tickets starting at $150. Boat slip rentals are available at Lakeway Marina. Complimentary boat trailer parking is available behind our main office — call us at 512-263-5200 and we'll walk you through where to park. We highly recommend renting a slip and then parking your trailer for the duration of your stay.
