Our stay was very peaceful, quiet, back to nature. The uniqueness of a roomy yurt in Lakeway, which is close to everything and far enough away that you have your own unit, free from a bunch of other people on top of you in a condo, you can set out on your deck, have coffee, look at the lake, the boats and still be hidden up in the hillside with the deer. A small pool and a hot tub are tucked underneath a cave-like stoned area. Even though there are steps , there's not too many. The unit was clean, a little outdated, but well kept. There is a TV in the bedroom and living room, not in the second bedroom, but it did have its own bathroom, so there were 2, the washer and dryer were a huge convenience. The refrigerator was nice and cold, they gave you some detergent capsules and dishwasher pods with some small bathroom accessories. However, there was no hair dryer. Anything you would want from gas to a huge grocery store HEB with many, many places to stop and eat or shop and a huge Galleria mall, all within 10 minutes, as well as horseback riding, axe throwing ,arcades, bowling all at High Five, caverns, museums. This location is within an hour of Austin international airport. You can drive within 2 hours, north on 35 to Waco and see Magnolia, or you can drive 2 and a 1/2 hours south to San Antonio and see Pastor Hagees church which was fabulous, and all of what that has as well, this is a perfect location in the middle of both. Everyone was very nice. I asked for a late check out if possible, needed an extra hour, and she gave me an hour and 1/2, that was very nice! The only major drawback is that the office is not opened all day.It's only open until noon so any assistance is not available. There is no computer desk available either. The area is clean and safe. I would visit here again, if it wasn't for the crazy 6+ lanes of traffic driving 70 with construction everywhere, cement snakes built to the heavens and poor signage on highways, which you have to take to get here. If you dont care about the nail biting drive, then this a a must stay!
